Who would have ever known that the Stanford Cardinals would be 7-3 (6-2 in the
Pac -10) and most importantly, win back to back games versus top 10 teams.
Last week, the Cardinals won over a very strong Oregon team and on Saturday, Stanford destroyed #9
USC 55-21. It was the worst lost for a
USC team in the Pete Carroll-Era.
QB Andrew Luck threw two touchdowns and ran for another, RB Toby
Gerhart ran for 178
yds with 3 touchdowns and
USC QB, Matt Barkley, was simply outplayed, throwing for 196
yds, 1 touchdown and 3 picks.
USC streaks of
Pac-1o titles, Top 4 AP finishes,
BCS Bowling, and 11 win seasons are now down the drain after this loss.
